In a recent survey, we asked the following question: What feature would you like to see in your CAD tool? Here are a few of the answers, edited slightly for clarity.

  1. A global route editor.
  2. The ability to import other vendors’ Gerber data reliably, and better DXF support.
  3. Add more AI functions.
  4. More automation for scripting and CAD output process.
  5. Incorporate vias in thermal pads for the decal editor.
