DesignAdvance Names Edward Pupa as CEO

DesignAdvance(TM) Systems, Inc., a leading developer of innovative design automation software for users of EDA and MCAD tools, announced today the appointment of Edward Pupa as its new chief executive officer. Pupa succeeds co-founder and former CEO, Randy Eager, who remains a member of the board of directors and will continue to assist the company in an advisory role. Pupa will take over day-to-day operations and implement sales, business and product strategy for the company's flagship product, CircuitSpace.
Pupa joins DesignAdvance as a successful and accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in the EDA and electronics industries. Prior to joining DesignAdvance, Pupa held President and CEO positions at EndoPassives, Inc. and Kyma Technologies. He has held senior level positions ranging from Director of Business Development-to-Vice President of Worldwide Sales for several EDA companies, including Cadence Design Systems (CDNS), Integrated Silicon Systems, Inc. and Avant!
