About the InstructorThe seminar will be conducted by Gary Stanley, president of Global Legal Services, a Washington, DC-based law firm focusing on trade compliance and other international business issues. Stanley represents, among others, numerous U.S., Canadian, and European companies on defense export control issues. Mr. Stanley has counseled numerous U.S. defense firms on securing U.S. Department of State and Directorate of Defense Trade Controls approvals of licenses, as well as manufacturing license and technical assistance agreements, under Parts 123 and 124 of the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and in using ITAR exemptions, including the Canadian exemption in ITAR S126.5.
