Intercept Technology Makes Strides with New Pantheon PCB/Hybrid/RF Layout Software Version
June 1, 2017 | Intercept Technology Inc.Estimated reading time: 1 minute
Intercept Technology Inc., a leader in EDA engineering and layout applications, has launched a major new enhancement release of its Pantheon PCB layout software, which includes specialized RF and Hybrid design flows. Complementing this new Pantheon version is a major enhancement release of Intercept’s Mozaix CAE schematic design software. The Mozaix version 5.0 and Pantheon version 7.2 releases are paired together with unified user interfaces for increased productivity for existing users, and for shorter ramp up time for new users. Both new versions are fully compliant on Microsoft Windows 10 and Linux Redhat 6.
Pantheon’s new and ultra-flexible group functionality is great for floorplanning, managing sections of via stitching, designating circuitry groups, bus routing, and much more.
Both the Pantheon and Mozaix main windows have been optimized to have placement of similar icon toolbars in the same places in both applications, and window designs have been upgraded in Mozaix to include Pantheon’s streamlined design for maximum screen space. The addition of PDF output options in the latest version of Mozaix is a precursor to future planned enhancements for Pantheon’s integrated drawing and documentation capabilities, under development now.
“Clean, easy to use UX has been our emphasis for years.” says Abby Monaco, Director of Products and Marketing for Intercept. “This latest stride forward provides better usability overall, with plenty of new tools to continue to simplify complex design issues.”
Intercept’s EDA software provides users with scalable design and engineering tailored for simpler designs to the most complex PCB, RF, Hybrid and mixed signal boards, panels, and panel arrays. Its software suite includes schematic, layout with DFM checking, and library management software, all complemented by powerful interfaces to mechanical, manufacturing, analysis, simulation, RF modeling, and documentation. Migration to Intercept’s products is made easy with its offering of over 30 database translators of various CAD, CAE, and library formats. Contact sales@intercept.com to request a free 30 day trial, or to speak with a sales representative.
Mozaix CAE Schematic version 5.0 unifies its user flow with Pantheon for fast adoption, improved design time, and as always, new features guaranteed to make schematic editing as easy as possible.
